Understanding USDC Withdrawal Limits

To keep accounts secure and compliant, USDC withdrawals may have limits or reviews. Here’s what you need to know:

New Account Limits (Less Than 7 Days Old)

If your account is under 7 days old:

  • Daily limit: Up to $500 total withdrawals within 24 hours
  • Single withdrawal limit: Requests of $3,000 or more will be declined
  • Important: All withdrawal attempts count toward the $500 daily limit, even if they fail or are pending.

Daily Withdrawal Limit (All Accounts)

  • Standard daily limit: $10,000 per 24 hours

If you go over:

  • New users: Withdrawal will be declined
  • Existing users: Withdrawal will be sent for review

72-Hour Credit Card Hold

If your wallet received funds via a credit card top-up in the last 72 hours, withdrawals will be temporarily blocked.

  • Applies to USDC and all withdrawal methods
  • You’ll need to wait until the 72-hour period passes

Large Withdrawal Reviews

For higher amounts:

  • $3,000–$9,999 → May go through manual review (can take up to 12 hours)
  • $10,000+ → Identity verification (KYC) is required before processing

Multiple Mid-Sized Withdrawals

If you make repeated withdrawals between $5,000–$9,000 within 30 days, your account may be reviewed.

Unusual Withdrawal Activity

A withdrawal may be reviewed if:

  • It’s 4× higher than your 30-day average, or
  • It’s 2× higher than your previous highest withdrawal

✅ Why These Limits Exist

These safeguards help:

  • Protect your account
  • Prevent fraud
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations

If your withdrawal is under review, don’t worry, it just means the system is performing a routine security check.
